1. Research use only
Everything listed on the Site is sold and supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only. Our products are not drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, or food, and they are not intended for human or veterinary use or for any diagnostic, therapeutic, or clinical purpose.
By using the Site you represent that you are a qualified researcher or acquiring materials on behalf of a research organization, and that you will handle, store, and dispose of any materials you obtain in accordance with all applicable laws and good laboratory practice. Please also review our Research-Use-Only Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory of residence (18 or 19 in Canada, depending on where you live) to use the Site or submit an inquiry. By using the Site you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
We may decline to respond to, or fulfil, any inquiry at our discretion — including where we believe a request is intended for a prohibited use.
3. No medical claims or advice
Nothing on the Site is medical, veterinary, pharmaceutical, or professional advice. Descriptions, mechanisms, dosage tables, and educational content are provided for informational and research reference only and describe how compounds behave in a research context — not directions for use in humans or animals.
We make no claim that any product can diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and no statement on the Site has been evaluated by Health Canada, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, or any comparable authority.
4. Orders, and inquiries that aren't a sale
In-stock products are sold directly through the Site: you check out with the details of your order and pay by Interac e-Transfer, following the instructions shown at checkout. That payment and order confirmation is what forms a contract of sale — not the inquiry form. Sold-out products can't be purchased at all; in place of a checkout, sold-out product pages show an “Email about this item” option that lets you submit an inquiry instead.
Submitting an inquiry about a sold-out product means:
- You are asking us to contact you about availability — this is an availability request, not an order, and it creates no order and no payment obligation. It does not form a contract of sale.
- Prices shown are indicative and for information only. They are not an offer to sell and may change without notice.
- We may reply, ask follow-up questions, or decline to proceed — an inquiry does not obligate either party.
- Payment for in-stock orders is made by Interac e-Transfer, per the instructions shown at checkout. No payment is ever collected through the Site for a sold-out item.
See our Shipping & Returns page for checkout, payment, and shipping details for in-stock orders.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Site or any material obtained through it for human or veterinary consumption, or resell or supply it for such use.
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Submit false, misleading, or another person’s information through the inquiry form, or use the form to send spam, malware, or automated bulk requests.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, probe, scrape, or disrupt the Site, its infrastructure, or its data.
- Copy, reproduce, or exploit Site content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
We may suspend or block access, and remove or ignore any inquiry, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, product data, graphics, logos, the Peptide Garage name and wordmark, and the overall design — are owned by Peptide Garage or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the Site for your own research reference. All other rights are reserved.
7. Third-party links and content
The Site may reference third-party laboratories, certificates of analysis, or external resources. We provide these for convenience and transparency only; we do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, and a reference does not imply endorsement.
8. Availability and no warranty
We work hard to keep product information, purity figures, and certificates accurate, but the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular product will be available. Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded under applicable Canadian consumer-protection law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peptide Garage and its officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any material obtained through it.
Because our materials are supplied for research use only, you are solely responsible for their safe handling and any outcome of their use. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the specific material giving rise to the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Peptide Garage from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of any material obtained through the Site, or your use of any material for a purpose other than laboratory research.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the courts located in Ontario, Canada will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your home province or territory.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as our business grows — for example, when we introduce online checkout in a future version. When we do, we will revise the “effective” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected on the Site, and your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
